Project Manager

The Project Manager position is within our East Region, where we are a leader in highway construction. We have the ability and experience to complete major projects consisting of the reconstruction of interstates and local streets as well as new construction.  We have the ability to perform large excavation, grading, paving, drainage, bridges, and structures.  Our experienced labor force can mobilize and successfully complete any project. With a large assortment of paving equipment, experienced crews and plants strategically located in Pennsylvania, HRI can pave any project.  Since we control quality throughout the production process, HRI can meet any specification in the industry.     The primary function of a Project Manager will provide overall management direction to multiple projects, establishes project objectives and policies, maintains liaison with prime contracts client, and monitors construction and financial activities through administrative direction of the onsite construction manager. May be the primary onsite manager on larger, more extensive projects.   The Project Manager duties include but are not limited to establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. The position will also plan, organize and staff key field positions through the Regional Operations Manager and/or General Superintendent, create, update, manage the project schedule, and develop the project budget upon assignment and notification of award.   The Project Manager will manage financial aspects of contracts including but not limited to fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses to protect the company's interest while simultaneously maintain good relationships with Clients. They will also prepare and maintain accurate forecasting at all times, manage the procurement process including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts, and provide estimating with actual cost information in order to enhance and increase the accuracy of future bids. Other duties will include initiating and maintain relationships with client, subcontractors and vendors, and acting as a liaison between all parties in order to facilitate construction activities including value engineering.   Our Muncy office is located just miles outside of the Williamsport area. The city is the cultural, financial, and commercial center of Central Pennsylvania. The West Branch Susquehanna River borders it. Williamsport is the birthplace of Little League Baseball. South Williamsport, a town nearby, is the headquarters of Little League Baseball and annually hosts the Little League World Series in late summer   Preference will be given to candidates having a four-yeardegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree, at least five (5) years project management experience. Preferred qualifications include the ability to construct a $15 million contract. The individual must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance, and understand of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
