Plant Accountant/HR Administrator

We continue to experience strong growth, and seek a seasoned Plant Accountant at our plant in Muncy, PA.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Plant Accountant is responsible for the accurate management & reporting of financial data, and is also the primary plant contact for Human Resources administrative issues and information.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain accuracy of general ledger.
Ensure compliance to all local, state and Federal regulations and oversee all payroll and account payable and receivable functions.
Payroll processing & benefits administration.
Administer all attendance programs for all employees.
Assist all plant supervisors to manage all disciplinary activities.
Maintain records for all plant activities and assist to recruit all required staffs.
Assist with required training for all staff.
Prepare all required correspondence and maintain all accounting files on computer and ensure accuracy of same.
Evaluate all plant documents and ensure compliance to federal and state labor laws.
Applicants should possess the following skill set:
Strong computer skills ? Oracle (preferred) or SAP
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate at different levels within the organization
Excellent decision making skills
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

Accounting
Educational Requirements:
Minimum High School graduate
Business/Accounting degree is preferred
Preferred Experience:
2-3 years general business/office
Office Management and Accounting experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
